Recently, I discovered iTunes via roommate. A funny statement, considering I'm part of the "in-touch with tech" generation. Of course, I've known about iTunes for several years, it being my music player of choice. So more specifically, I discovered the iTunes Store. And even more specifically, the 'Free on iTunes' section of the store...
Did you know that iTunes offers a free single EVERY week? and sometimes more than one? Incredible! Often the singles feature obscure artists, and sometimes the songs are...strange. But who cares? If you dislike the song, just delete it from your hard drive. However, if you are like me and enjoy being introduced to new music and sounds the more obscure artists sometimes offer a fresh audible treat (ha. corny wording)!
Additionally, using iTunes I can subscribe to podcasts that will update automatically to my iTunes account. Podcasts of all kinds--politics, news, comedy, education, arts, books, and even poetry to name some. iLove!
