Resolve

(Courtesy: Carleymae)
I feel like an unsure tightrope walker, teetering along weary of impending doom should I take one faulty step or lose my balance. Experience has taught that looking down will only fill me with a sense of vertigo, dread, and anxiety. And those harrowing moments when breath no longer comes easily, I remember I have done this before. I have walked the tightrope of unrequited love and disappointment. More than once, I have walked this rope of pain. And tho a happy end eludes my vision now, I will keep moving forward.
One shaky, unsure step at a time.

Wow, I couldn't have explained the feeling any better. Relationships are hard but what's harder is learning to trust your step and to move forward despite the uncertainty. Thanks! I needed this!
