Right now is my favorite of Utah's seasons. I don't know whether to call it spring or summer. All I know is that Utah is at its greenest, there are flowers everywhere, and Utah even receives a few thunderstorms. Not to mention the last of the snow is gone, finally! Last week on a short hike, I saw a patch of these pretty, red flowers. I had no idea what they were (still don't). Unfortunately, I didn't have my SLR with me and couldn't get closer without blurring the flowers. Better luck next time!
